  1. My favorite verses: Exodus 20:10: “But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHWH your God: in it you will not do *any work*, not you, your son, nor your daughter, manservant, maidservant, cattle, and not the stranger that is within your gates”.

    And similarly Exodus 31:14: “You will keep the Sabbath, for it is *holy* unto you. Everyone that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whoever does *ANY WORK* on that day, their soul shall be but off from among His people”.

    Hopefully you’re enjoying a nice relaxing Sabbath at home and not out trying to buy and sell things.
