I will talk about the different bird counts I’ve done in the past and up to now.
The Bird Count called Audubon Society: It is just for the scheduled bird sites they put together. I’ve been on a few of them. I mostly did these counts when I lived in Everett and then in Spanaway. Closer to the cites. I did do a couple of the counts when my son and I lived in Lacey, WA.
This Seagull was at the Ocean in Long beach.
The Bird Count called E-Bird that is the count that’s only 3 days of counting from your backyard. It’s made from the Birds and Bloom company. I got to send out my bird pictures to them. I had a couple of my photos in their Birds and Bloom Magazine. Now that was cool!
The Bird Count called Cornell Ornithology they have a count through a source called Feeder watch. This one I do every year. Starting on November 1st to April 30th. To watch how many birds come through where I live at my bird sanctuary in my backyard, wooded area. And by the Cowlitz river too. I enjoy hiking around and looking through my scope to find beautiful treasures from Yeshua/Jesus. He made such awesome and majestic birds. The other Bird Counts I do on my own in my wooded areas I live close too. When I hike my dogs, we go up, far up in the forest and I get to find all kinds of birds and even animals around too. My dogs get hyped up some, but I get them to settle down and then they seem to enjoy watching me look at these beautiful creatures.
